Day 1 in Cairo. Days 2–3 in Aswan: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Valley Temple and Grand Egyptian Museum. Days 4–5 on the Nile: Temple of Kom Ombo and Temple of Horus at Edfu. Days 6–8 in Cairo: Karnak Temple Complex, Luxor Temple, Valley of the Kings and Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
Travel between cities is by the overnight sleeper train. It is the classic route in comfortable hotels and ships, with guiding and entrance fees included.

With your guide, visit Saqqara and the Step Pyramid of Djoser and Memphis. Overnight in Cairo. Meals: Breakfast.
